During my first-grade parent-teacher conference, my teacher told my mom I wasn’t allowed to sit by the window because of my excessive daydreaming. My teachers would yell, “Earth to Spencer!” whenever they wanted me to come back to the classroom.

Thankfully, I never stopped daydreaming. I just learned how to make the things I see in my head come to life. Also, I prefer the term concepting.

Hi, I’m Spencer. I’m an art director and photographer exploring culture through imagery, storytelling, and observation. I have a pretty extensive record collection consisting of jazz, soul, funk, and ’90s hip-hop. I find it hard not to dance when music is playing, and I go on long walks just to observe the world around me.

I’ve spent most of my creative life using movement, sound, and imagery to communicate the things I feel. Whether I’m developing a campaign, making an image, or chasing an idea I can’t quite get out of my head, I’m interested in work that connects with people, reflects the world around me, and, above all, feels like something.
